Jerry passed away October 3, 2009 after a brief illness. He was born November 25, 1934 to Howard & Mildred (Hetzman) Malloy. He was a lifelong resident of Ann Arbor. He is survived by his children Juan (Sandra), Tony (Laura), Ernest (Kathi), Lucia (Phil) and Mike (Diane). Grandchildren Tony (Emily), Carl (Cindy), Juan (Teresa), Amy (Jeff), Nicolle (Brett), Nicholas and Phil 2nd. He is also survived by several great grandchildren and special friends Barbara Bedolla, Elvera Rangel and Antonio Bedolla. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife of 42 years, Guadalupe. Jerry was a “people person” and a true legend in every sense of the word. He was a self-taught man and also multi-lingual. After meeting people of different origins, he would learn their languages. He fought for equal rights for various minority groups. His interests varied from riding his motorcycle to breeding and racing his sled dogs to playing many musical instruments. Jerry enjoyed life and will be missed by many.
